I agree that Runescape was something at one time. It's fairly annoying to play nowadays tho. Bots are everywhere.
I think I just raised my overall skills after I completed everything. Most of my (free) skills are over 60, I believe, although archery and prayer are in the 40's, and crafting is in the 50's. I don't remember runecrafting that well. It was a good timewaster.
Mining: Dwarven mines, random places, then started mining wilderness coal, then mining guild. I think I spent a while in the swamp southeast, near the desert (free world). I also spent some time mining silver in the crafting guild. Mostly iron, coal, and silver.
Smithing: At the start, I just made bars of what I mined in Falador, and went up to the close anvils. After a while I started mining in bulk, making bars in Falador, and then using anvils in... um... Valsomething? The big northeast city. Ended with steel plate and alchemizing them; too many players when I ended to make shop prices or world hopping worthwhile.
Crafting: Did a bit of pottery, then making leather items. After getting into the crafting guild, just did silver. My goal was lvl 70 to get diamond amulets, the best free item, but it took forever. I made amulets out of the gems I got, and gave them away for free.
Fighting: At first, wherever. Eventually, settled in the pit of giants, and then moss giants on the dragon island. Archery I basically ignored, but did later on on city guards in that big northeast city. Magic was pretty much always at the dark wizard circle, except for my alchemizing items on dragon island and smithing results. Buried any bones I found for prayer.
Runecrafting: I just did a ton of mining in that northwest city, and then making air and mind runes, for fire strike with a fire staff. I noticed when I came back briefly that it's fairly simple to trade the most easily made runes for more of other runes at the market.
Fishing: Tried to level it up wherever I could. Spent a while doing river fishing until I could get tuna, and then just fished on the tropical island. Mostly lobsters now.
Cooking: Any fish. Also did pizzas in the wilderness. Always a fun fight there... although I'm not sure why people attacked me, when I was wearing 3 pieces of runite, and obviously was making food.
Woodcutting/firemaking: I didn't really sell my logs, just burning them, so they leveled at the same time. Mostly cut the trees behind a south coastal village. Maple, I believe.
I'm probably missing something, but whatever. I mostly played Runescape 6 years ago.
