KoRPS Update

I've updated KoRPS to the latest version. If you have been holding back a poll or an application, please add them up now.

This update includes:
  • Extra polls on the main screen.
  • Fixed decals.
  • New, nonfunctional settings menu.
  • Poll notifications for anyone who can vote on a poll, the person who added it, and the person who had it added for them.
  • Cleaned up help menu.

Let me know as soon as you can if you find anything wrong. Also, gmail seems to be marking our e-mail as spam. I blame ikusari for this and you should too.

Re: KoRPS Update

First thing i noticed, there's a probability impossible made possible:
Metroidude Passed
10/9
ImageImageImage GrangerHub - We have multi-protocol Servers!
Tremulous Handy Link Heaven | Install TremFusion for 1.1
Steam: ZdrytchX (when adding me, state your forum/tremulous username) | Games: Paladins, NS2, Reflex, Quake Live, War Thunder, Rise of Flight, IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad
Non-Steam: BF3, Tremulous

Re: KoRPS Update

The second number is just how many "yes" votes are needed, not the total votes that can be cast. So 10 people voted yes, while only 9 were needed.

Re: KoRPS Update

In other words, it's not majority wins, or "90% of higher level admins" etc.?

Re: KoRPS Update

What? Is it really that hard to understand...?

There are a certain number of members in KoR. There is (usually) a lower number of members considered "active" (aaron will have to define this since I don't know what determines thi - supposedly visiting the korps page but that's a bad idea). Out of those, a fraction of that number (I think half?) is selected to be the number of "yays" needed. So, you need 9 yay votes, but you ended up with 10 yay votes. Nay votes subtract one from total yay votes, so in this scenario you could have had 14 yays and 4 nays.

Re: KoRPS Update

I don't even know the exact numbers off of the top of my head. There were polls for the numbers back when I was designing the system and people voted for the ratios... They're predefined in an include file somewhere. It determines the number of KoR members that have visited the forum in the past month or so (used to be that visited KoRPS when it was more active) and then takes a fraction of them and uses that as a requirement to pass.

Edit:
Found it... 83% voted for the half clan requirement.
